Spatial thinking is the skill of picturing how objects move, fit, rotate, and stack in the space on screen.
What is this skill?
- Spatial-thinking puzzles ask you to reason about position, rotation, and how pieces fit together. The answer depends on the shape of the space, not the label of the object.
- In Brain Test, this means rotating a piece to match, sliding objects into a tight gap, or stacking things so they balance.
How to recognize it
- The puzzle is about fitting, turning, or placing something rather than naming it.
- Pieces look like they should rotate or slide into a gap.
- The visible shape does not match the needed one until you move it.
Common tricks
- You must rotate a piece so its drawn shape matches the hole.
- An object fits only after you clear the space around it.
- Stacking in the right order keeps the tower from falling.
